Remuera on Style – Fashion Show
New Zealand Fashion Festival will be in full swing from 21 – 27th March, with fashion events taking place in major retail centres across the country. Remuera will be showcasing winter collections at a charity fashion show on Thursday 24th March, to be MC'd by well-known television personality Carol Hirschfeld. Normally a quiet place for reading, the Remuera Library will be transformed and several celebrity models – including local personality Suzanne Paul – will take to the catwalk. Remuera on Style will highlight key trends for the upcoming season, with collections from a range of designers and retailers in Remuera. Proceeds from the event will go to Mercy Hospice Auckland, a charity that provides a range of specialist community palliative care and hospice services for people facing life limiting illnesses. Mercy Hospice’s services are provided free of charge and their compassion and caring touches the lives of hundreds of Aucklanders every year.
