Education for Health Professionals

Mercy Hospice Auckland is committed to providing an education programme that covers all aspects of palliative care; the physical, psychosocial, emotional and spiritual. We aim to provide varied education of a high standard for all those who work with palliative care patients in the ADHB area.

All courses are held at Mercy Hospice Auckland, unless otherwise stated. All costs are GST inclusive.

Genesis Oncology Breakfast Series

The Genesis Oncology Trust Breakfast Lecture Series is hosted by hospices throughout New Zealand. These are held on the first Thursday of each month, 7.30-8.30am. The series is designed to suit the needs of a multidisciplinary audience. CME and CNE points are awarded.

Support for General Practitioners

Mercy Hospice Auckland is the registered provider of specialist palliative care education for GPs in the Auckland area for the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners. In addition, the medical team is available to provide education and support for other medical and allied health groups.
