Tennis Tournament 2010

The second annual Mercy Hospice Auckland Tennis Tournament was once again warmly received by the tennis community.

Over 70 players and 30 supporters enjoyed a day of great tennis, delicious food and a friendly rivalry that extended from the court to the live auction.

Thank you to the generous people and organisations who donated in kind items for the auction and to Amstar Construction, Astor Construction, Datacom Services, Galanti (Plastics) Group Ltd, Hunter Powell Investments, Hirepool and Castle Marquee Hire, Hawkins Construction, Kellands Real Estate, Placemakers (Mt Wellington), P.M Investments, NZ Assets Management Ltd, Winstone Wallboards, Walker and Hall, Brittain Wynyard, Coal Pit Wines and the Herne Bay Tennis Club and Pompallier Lawn Tennis Club for their sponsorship of the event.

A special thank you to Sue Rowell for organising the Tennis players and rosters and to the many volunteers who gave up their day to make the Tennis Tournament so successful. Thanks to everyone involved who helped to raise $24,000.
